Promotional Offers and Discounts
Trekking Compass periodically provides discounts on trek packages. These promotions are limited to specific services and do not extend to rentals, transportation, or offloading services. Discounts cannot be retroactively applied to previously purchased trek packages.

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the dates mentioned on your travel documents. Any errors or omissions are your responsibility.
Travel Documentation Requirements
All necessary documents must be submitted in advance. Trekking Compass will not be held responsible if trip formalities are incomplete or if essential documents are missing by the departure date.
Travel Itinerary and Changes
Your safety and enjoyment are Trekking Compass's top priorities. However, unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political unrest, road blockages, flight cancellations, or health issues may require changes to your itinerary. Any additional costs incurred due to such circumstances are your responsibility. Trekking Compass will do its best to notify you of any changes in advance.

All communication will be conducted through the email provided by you during registration. Trekking Compass is not responsible for missed communications due to incorrect or outdated contact details. Inherent Risks in Trekking
Trekking, peak climbing, and mountaineering in the Himalayas carry inherent risks to life and property. Sudden changes in weather conditions, which are beyond the control of Trekking Compass, may lead to injury or death. While we do our utmost to minimize risks and ensure your safety, accidents or service deficiencies may still occur. By proceeding with your booking, you agree to accept these risks.
Baggage Responsibility and Limitations
You are responsible for your personal belongings throughout the trip. Trekking Compass will not be liable for any loss of baggage, goods, or travel documents during the tour.
Refund Terms
No refunds will be issued if you voluntarily leave or drop out of a trip after it has commenced. If Trekking Compass cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered an alternative trip/date. You can choose to trade your trip with another. Any cost differences will be your responsibility.
On-Trip Conduct and Behaviour Expectations
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and cooperatively. If your actions cause distress or harm to others or damage property, Trekking Compass reserves the right to terminate your participation in the trip without a refund. The group leader's decisions are final, especially concerning safety.
Included and Excluded Amenities
Trekking Compass strives to provide the best amenities available. However, due to the remote nature of the Himalayas, we cannot promise a comfort level the same as what you are used to at home. Weather conditions may also impact your experience. The weather conditions are prone to change in higher altitudes and can cause distress that you should be ready for.
Additional Costs and Participant Expenses
Inclusions vary by trip. Services like insurance, airfare, visas, excess baggage fees, gratuities, and personal expenses are typically not included. Unless otherwise stated in the itinerary.
Acknowledgement of Risk and Liability
Adventure travel inherently involves risk. By booking a trip with Trekking Compass, you acknowledge the personal risks, including political, cultural, and geographical challenges, and release Trekking Compass from any claims arising from injuries, damages, or death. It is your responsibility to weigh the risks and challenges involved in your destination.
Emergency Protocols and Assistance
In the event of illness or injury during the trip, you are responsible for covering all medical, evacuation, and repatriation expenses.
Third-Party Services and Vendors
Trekking Compass hires third-party vendors to deliver certain services. We are not responsible for any deficiencies or harm caused by these third-party service providers.
Photography and Media Rights
Trekking Compass reserves the right to use photographs or videos of you during your trip for promotional purposes without any compensation to you or any concerned parties. If you do not wish to have your images used, please inform us before your trek.
Optional Activity and Liability
Optional activities offered during your trip are not part of the contract with Trekking Compass. Your participation is at your own risk, and any contracts you enter for these activities are directly with the provider.

Transportation Policies
Transportation for your trek will be provided as per the itinerary. Changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, and we appreciate your understanding.
